We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2023, at the age of 72, Nelson C. Harmeyer Sr. of Greensburg, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin A. Harmeyer and Mary Harmeyer (Schebler); and his siblings, Mary Wilhelm (Harmeyer) and Richard Harmeyer. He is survived by: his wife Fay Harmeyer; his children, Nelson Harmeyer Jr. of Greensburg, IN and Renee Shaw (Randy) of Hope, IN; his grandchildren, Gage Shaw, Jacob Shaw, Ty Shaw, Joseph Harmeyer, James Harmeyer and Natalie Harmeyer; and his siblings, Bertha Head (Donald), John Harmeyer (Bonnie), Dennis Harmeyer (Connie), Larry Harmeyer (Kim), Alvin Harmeyer (Sheryl), Vernon Harmeyer, Martin Harmeyer (Lana), Judy Keeney (John Hedge), Diana McDaniel (Jim) and Nathaniel Harmeyer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family or to the American Cancer Society for the cure of mantle cell lymphoma.
