With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Fortner of Greensburg, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Fortner and Martha Fortner (Conk). He is survived by: his children, Michael Fortner of St. Paul and Heather Fortner-Powers of Greensburg; his sister Marilyn Pickett of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Kody Corbin, Hannah Hernandez and Matthew Powers. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and 2 step grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Paul Tavern (103 N Webster St, St Paul, IN 47272).
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
