It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice George Buening of Greensburg, Indiana, who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferd Buening and Ida Buening (Obermeyer); his sons, Mark Buening and Dennis Buening; his brother William Buening; and his siblings-in-law, James Meyer and Wilma Buening.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Buening (Ortman); his children, Duane Buening (Christine), Richard Buening and Julie Morris (Charles); and his siblings, Carl Buening (Marilyn), Paul Buening (Anna), James Buening (Sue), Joann Burkhart (Edward) and Rita Meyer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
