He is survived by: his wife Valerie Hayes; his children, Kelsey Hayes, Nathen Hayes and Mathew Hayes (Chelsea); his stepchildren, Jessica Lanning (Chris) and Sean O'Leary (Brianna); his grandchildren, Parker Hayes, Katrina Christian, Ethan Lanning and Elise O'Leary; his sister Barbara Nelson (Todd); his aunt Sis; the mother of his children Jennifer Hayes; his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Phipps (Bill), Stephen Duncan and Gary Duncan; and his pets, Bud, Rex, Dusty and Toby. He is also survived by several uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
