He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knueven and Leona Knueven (Easley); his wife Madeleine Knueven (Miller); and his brothers, Clifford Knueven, Howard Knueven, John Knueven Jr. and Monsignor Harold Knueven.

He is survived by: his children, Daniel Knueven (Dee) and Shirley Beetz (Andrew); his grandchildren, Nick Beetz (Melanie), Aaron Beetz (Maggie), Rachel Seyer (Brent), Alicia Beck (Brian) and Erik Knueven (Leann); and his siblings, Charlene Rauch and Willard Knueven. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
