He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn C. Brewer; his siblings, Alma Pound, Rena Wheeler, Vonda Rosenberry and Sam Rosenberry; and his grandson Joshua Vahle.

He is survived by: his children, James B. Rosenberry (Kathy), Jeffrey Rosenberry (Tonya) and Janet Vahle (Jay); his sisters, Linda Chaille and Tonna Lee; his grandchildren, Jacob Vahle (Angela), Kaitlin Vahle and Caleb Vahle; his stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey Kelp (Elvie) and Megan Catron (James); his great grandchild Jordan Vahle; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Sawyer and Jericho Kelp.

Memorials may be made to the Bread of Life.
