He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon O. Reece and Britomarte Reece (James); and his son Bernard Reece. He is survived by: his significant other Susie Gabbard; his children, Bill Reece (Mary) of Kansas, Tim Reece (Kathy) of Greensburg, Joel Reece (Priscilla) of Richmond, Sophia Kimm (Mike) of Cambridge City and Sarah Clark (Tom) of Greensburg; and his sisters, Mary Anderson-Gapp, Ruth Kelley (Max) and Virginia Snakovsky (Joseph). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Southern Baptist Church (1159 Airport Rd, Rushville, IN 46173). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
