It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hersey Gene Mangels of Greensburg, Indiana, born in Leadville, Colorado, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilbert Mangels and Ella Baack Mangels; his son Scott (Janice) of Greensburg; his granddaughters, Molly and Emily; his brothers, Jerry Mangels (Bette) of Nebraska and Ken Mangels (Carolyn) of Arizona; and his brother-in-law Dan Reitmeyer (Lisa) of Vincennes. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
