He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Otto and Helen Ruth Sample (DeSpain); and his brothers, Charles Robert Sample and Raymond Eugene Sample. He is survived by: his children, Diana Coblentz (Daniel) of Greensburg, Eric Sample (Pam) of Westport and Harold Sample of Westport; his grandchildren, Matthew Sample, Amanda Sample and Kyle Sample; and his great grandchildren, Cayden Sample, Bentley Lavender, Braden Lavender and Ava Sample.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home (402 E Bennett St, Westport, IN 47283). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
