It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Jacqueline Peters of Greensburg, Indiana, born in Pierceville, Indiana, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Abplanalp and Dorothy Louella Abplanalp (Arthur); and her siblings, Patty Horton, JoAnne Dunaway and Johnny Abplanalp.

She is survived by: her husband Bishop Darrel Peters of Greensburg; her children, Darren Peters Greensburg (Lisa), Justin Peters (Tabitha) of Dundee, Michigan, Teresa Hensley (Wendell) of Cincinnati and Nova Peters of Owensboro, Kentucky; and her sisters, Helen Grigsby (Jim) of Delaware and Cathy Saylor of Milan. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in honor of Jackie to the family.
