She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Anderson; her husband Ray Glen Sweet Sr.; her children, Earl "Buster" Sweet and Carol "Annie" Sweet of Waldron; her grandson Christopher Sweet; her brothers, Roy Plymate and Verlie Plymate; her great grandchildren, Levi Wilson, Devin Dollinger and Neal Tracy Jr.; and her son-in-law Chris Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Sweet of Greensburg, Jackie Ruble of Greensburg, Ray "Butch" Sweet (Joni) of Westport, Barb Hatfield (Verna) of Jabez and Oren "Rocky" Sweet (Melissa) of Adams; her brother Russell Roan (Kathy) of Shelbyville; and her pets, Ava, Diesel and Tiggers. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
