He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peters and Flora Peters (Blake); his son Eddie Joe Peters; his son-in-law Larry Welsh; and his siblings, Norma Lee Peters, Maude Hazelrigg, Mary Maynard, Thelma Overhauser, William Peters, Dale Peters and John Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Peters of Greensburg, Peggy Welsh of Greensburg, Brad Peters of Greensburg and Eric Peters (Amy Schetzsle) of Greensburg; his daughter-in-law Linda Peters; and his sister Ruth Ainsworth. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
