With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Orville Newland of Greensburg, Indiana, born in Elizabethtown, Indiana, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Orville and Ruby Bernice Newland (Giberson); his son Brent Howard Crouch; and his brother Steven Newland. He is survived by: his children, Donna Cole (Michael) of Winston Salem, Kristina Battle (John) of Wilksboro, Marie Lynn Crouch of Shelbyville, Jay Thomas Crouch (Karla) of St. Paul, Ted Lee Crouch (Betty) of Shelbyville, Patrick Sean Newland (Dawn) of Huber Heights and David Prescott Newland (Tesica) of Greensburg; and his sister Phyllis Kelsey (Carmen) of Springville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
