She was predeceased by: her parents, George B. Johnson and Semmie B. Moore Johnson; her husband James A. Tays; and her brothers, Jack, Elmer, James, Carlie and Harlie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Jenny Edwards (John) of Washington, Raymond Burchett of Greensburg, David L. Tays (Jackie) of Greensburg and Shera Dooley (Tim) of Greensburg; her stepchildren, Debra Chandler (Ray) of Columbus and James Lee Tays (Lynn) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Jodi White (Dan), Dustin Tays, Amber Cox, Clinton Pickett, Joshua Pickett, Sheila Parker (Gerald), Jessica Bachmann (Rob) and Jamie Tays; her siblings, BJ Johnson (Evelyn), Rosie Clayton, Lester Johnson (Linda), Anna Wilson and Linda Edmondson (Ken); and her sister-in-law Mary Johnson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In memory of Mrs. Tays memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
