Charlotte May Huffmeyer Obituary

We bid farewell to Charlotte May Huffmeyer of Greensburg, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 7, 2025 at the age of 98. Charlotte May touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Tichenor and Cleona Tichenor (Gardner); her husband Calvin Huffmeyer; her brother Lowell; her granddaughter Stephanie Huffmeyer; and her siblings, Leona Amrhein Burley, Margaret Miller, Georgetta Hert, Zelma Barnes, Mary Barnes and John Tichenor.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Huffmeyer (Carol), Elaine Ortman (Danny), Gerald Huffmeyer (Jenny) and Edward Huffmeyer (Cindy); her grandchildren, Daryl Huffmeyer (Tricia), Benjamin Ortman (Darla), Jed Ortman (Alison), Tim Huffmeyer (Terri), Joey Ortman (Sabrina), Chris Huffmeyer, Erin Voss (Brad), Adam Huffmeyer (Lauren), Jonathan Huffmeyer (Josey) and Ashton Akridge (Shane); and her sisters, Bonnie Evans and Sally Weber. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's United Church of Christ (300 N Huntersville Rd, Batesville, IN 47006). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
