Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barbara Jean Wamsley of Greensburg, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 96, on October 9, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Scheidler and Anna Scheidler (Stier); her husband Don Wamsley; her siblings, Kathryn "Kay" Meyer, Jim Scheidler and Marjorie Johannigman; her grandson Matthew Grimes; her daughter-in-law Kathy Smith; and her stepdaughter Diana Tulloch (Wamsley).
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Grimes (Duke), Don Smith, Hugh Smith (Paige) and Virginia "Ginny" Horton; her stepsons, Don Wamsley Jr. and Dale Wamsley; and her sisters, Mary Ann Welage and Dottie Hoeing. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Greensburg Decatur County Humane Society.
