She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Lee and Lydia Magnolia Lee (Pemberton); her husband Arnold R. Turpin; her grandson Andrew Robert Turpin; her siblings, Betty Stonerock, Doris Wallace, Bertie Lee and Willis Lee; and her brothers-in-law, Carl Stonerock, Donald Wallace and Lloyd Turpin.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph A. Turpin (Beth) of Greenfield, Jon B. Turpin (Linda) of Cambridge City, George Scott Turpin (Beth) of Seymour, Stephen Turpin (Liz) of Etowah, NC, James Turpin (Laura) of Greensboro, Debra Fausset (Pat) of Wilkinson and Lee Annette Douglas (Danny) of New Castle; her siblings, Nelle Wallace and Hugh Lee Middletown (Carol); and her brother-in-law Kedric Wallace of Spiceland. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family wishes that a monetary donation be made to one of Coleen's favorite organizations, New Castle Henry County Public Library Bookmobile or the Hancock Health Foundation-Women Helping Women Program.
