She was predeceased by: her parents, James Emery and Dorothy Mae Marks (Lucas); her son Steven Lee Wallace; and her sisters, Estella Waln, Ruth Downam and Mary Rose Finch.

She is survived by: her children, Sammie Wallace (Susie) of Lexington, David Wallace (Joyce) of Lebanon, Sylvia Miller (Todd) of Atlanta and Linda Kirk (Kevin) of Whiteland; her daughter-in-law Leanne Wallace of New Castle; her grandchildren, Bryan Wallace (Brandi), Robert Miller (Angie), Samanthe Lloyd (Danny), Megan Saunders, Bradley Wallace (Krystle Goodall), Chris Wallace (Kayla), Andrew Kirk (Danielle), Alexandra Cooper (Dylan) and Logan Wallace; her great grandchildren, Cole, Zoe Darnell, Samuel, William, Maddox, Merida, Addison, Dawson, Hendricks Wallace, Wallace, Henry Kirk and Wrynn Cooper; and her spouse Sammie Lee Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or the Greensboro Methodist Church.
