He was predeceased by: his former wife Ginger Wright McFarland; his parents, Donald McFarland and Irma "Dee" Simms; his brothers, Rick and Rod; and his stepdaughter Brandy Jo Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle Charles of Greens Fork; his siblings, Don McFarland of Richmond and Jenni Garcia (Martin) of Texas; his stepchildren, Amber Smith (Robert) of Michigan and Cory Fulton of Centerville; and his daughters, Melissa Kettering and Lisa McFarland of Richmond. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home (222 N 10th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
