She is survived by: her husband Rick Jay Schauss; her sons, Drew Schauss of Siloam Springs and Matthew Schauss (Kyla) of Mishawaka; her mother Nancy Upchurch of Richmond; her brothers, David Upchurch (Donna) of North Webster, Steven Upchurch of Dallas and Jeff Upchurch (Yan) of Hagerstown; her nieces, Ashley Kilgore (Ross) of Bluffton and Rebecca Upchurch of Lafayette; and her aunts, Jane Sturgeon (Don) of Hagerstown and Barb Turner (Brian) of Richmond. She is also survived by cousins; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to Rose Hamilton Elementary School for the Reading Recovery Program, 115 West South Street, Centerville, IN 47330.
