He was predeceased by: his father Frank Gentry. He is survived by: his mother Joy Gentry (Medford) of Lebanon; his son Mitch Gentry of Clayton, IN; his grandchildren, Wade Gentry and Jayden Keen; his sisters, Leanna Miller (Kevin) of Lebanon and Melinda Smith of Indianapolis; and his nieces and nephews, Melissa Wood (Ryan), Bailee, Braxton Smith, Travis Miller (Amanda), Brandon Miller (Jessica) and Brayton Smith.
