He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Eck and Lester "Raymond" Eck; his sisters, Lois Schmidt, Lorene "Lee" Ash Marshall and Berneda Fisher; and his daughters, Belinda Eck and Bronda Vierling (Eck).
He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his children, Brian Eck and Beth Sexton; his son-in-law Jim Vierling; his grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Deanna Hensley, Ricky Harrison, Courtney Brattain, Jarrod Brattain, Nikia Sexton and Dakota Sexton; and his close friend Dorothy Hollenbaugh. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
