She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Buckner and Bertha Buckner (Fuqua); her husband Douglas I Martz; and her sisters, Claudine Read, Nancy Smith, Hazel Slaughter and Jean Clemons.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Martz of Greenfield and Steven Martz of Indianapolis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
