She was predeceased by: her mother Rose Ruddell (Spears-May); and her grandparents, Maurice May, Edna Bogie, Mary and Zeb Spears.
She is survived by: her husband Marty Charlton; her father John May (Merryn); her daughters, Jacquelyn Weller (Paul) and Jeannie Redmon; her grandsons, Evan and Ezra Weller; and her brother Wayne May (Lori). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and family.
