Blanchard of Greenfield, Indiana, born in East Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Blanchard and Althea Blanchard-Sigman (Davis); his stepfather Russell Sigman; his wife Elsie Blanchard (Leary); and his siblings, James, Robert and Joyce Baker (Gene).
He is survived by: his children, Edward Blanchard (Connie), Sam Blanchard, Russell Blanchard (Cynthia) and Kelly Modglin (Raymond); and his grandchildren, Isabella Blanchard, Chance Blanchard, David Hobbs (Ashley), Ryan Hobbs (Josie), Nathaniel Thomas Blanchard, Brandon Perkins, Ian Modglin, Connor Modglin, Olivia Modglin, Sean Modglin, Helen Helfer, James Helfer, Ruthie Helfer and Claire Helfer. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel (1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (519 Jefferson Blvd, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the New Life Christian Fellowship (1574 IN-234, Fortville, IN 46040). A burial was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at the Park Cemetery (621 S State St, Greenfield, IN 46140).
