He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Blanchard and Althea Blanchard-Sigman (Davis); his stepfather Russell Sigman; his wife Elsie Blanchard (Leary); and his siblings, James, Robert and Joyce Baker (Gene).
He is survived by: his children, Edward Blanchard (Connie), Sam Blanchard, Russell Blanchard (Cynthia) and Kelly Modglin (Raymond); and his grandchildren, Isabella Blanchard, Chance Blanchard, David Hobbs (Ashley), Ryan Hobbs (Josie), Nathaniel Thomas Blanchard, Brandon Perkins, Ian Modglin, Connor Modglin, Olivia Modglin, Sean Modglin, Helen Helfer, James Helfer, Ruthie Helfer and Claire Helfer. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
