He was predeceased by: his parents, Rainey Hughes and Jeannette Britton (Haddix); and his siblings, Sandy Foster, Genie Baker, Billy Hughes and Cecil Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Hughes (Baker); his sons, Sonny Hughes (Kami) and Tony Hughes (Tina); his stepchild Tonja Brink (Terry); his grandchildren, Jasmine, Ciera, Karli, Xavier, Monika, Austin, Brandon, Hunter, Emma and Kiahna; his pet Marley; and his siblings, Ray, Joe Hughes, Barb Harden, Diana Angrick, Debbie Hughes and Janice Jacobs. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 US-40, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
