She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Mills and Garnet Ruth Mills (Downham); her former husband William Oleksy, Jr.; her son James "Jay" Oleksy; and her great grandchild Brandon Sears.
She is survived by: her caregiver Trusty Cook; her daughters, Patricia Gosser and Stephanie Banta (Bill); her daughter-in-law Robin Oleksy; her grandchildren, William A. Banta (Brianna), Cole Oleksy, Tyler J. Oleksy, Emily R. Oleksy, Angela R. Sears (Jon) and Whitney L. Clinton (Chris); her sisters, Teresa McDuffee, Mary Haygood and Betty Savage; and her husband James L. Stone, Sr.. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
