He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustavus James and Pauline Harvey (Bryant); his son Steve Harvey; his great grandchild Rhea Kleine; and his siblings, Harold, Wilbur Harvey and Louise Ditton.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Louise White; and his children, Marsha Richey (Mike) of Shirley, IN, Linda Jordon (Jerry) of Shirley, IN, Sally Molden (Terry) of Wilkinson, IN, Betsy Willis (Ron) of Shirley, IN, Judy Walton (John) of Greencastle, IN, Charlie Teater (Karla) of Winnebago, IL and Candy Benton (Kirk) of Bryson City, NC. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Sherman's name may be gifted to Center Christian Church.
