Ruth D Walker Obituary

We bid farewell to Ruth D Walker of Greenfield, Indiana, born in De Pere, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 4, 2025 at the age of 97. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Lon E. Walker; her siblings, Francis, Ethel, Collins and Roy; her grandsons, David Reeves (Buddy) and David Allen Thomas; and also Anthony R. Harlin, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Geraldine Hudelson, Margaret Fuquay (Bob) and Patricia Mulry-Shaffer; and her grandchildren, David Reeves Cheri (Linda), Rondald D. Hudelson (Tammy), Lori L. Gutierrez, Davina Reeves, Richard L. Thomas Jr., Deborah A. Butler (Matt), Amy Gooding (Brad) and Denise Luttrell (John Cornejo). She is also survived by 20 great-great grandchildren, one great-great-great grandchild, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.

Ruth requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery Association (2549 S. Meridian Rd. Greenfield, IN 46140) in her name.
