He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Zimmerman and Thelma Zimmerman (Arthur); his son Christopher Zimmerman; and his siblings, Robert and Darlene Zimmerman.

He is survived by: his son Michael Zimmerman (Jaime); his grandchildren, Zach, Logan, Madison, Collin, Josh, Harper and Hudson; his great grandchild Kolton; and his siblings, Judy Bailey, Christine Wetzel, Shirley Cleary, Cathy Zimmerman, Helen Smith, Lonnie and Ralph Zimmerman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
