Robert Dru Pike Obituary
GREENFIELD – Robert Dru Pike, age 27, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020. He was born in Greenfield on March 24, 1993 to Casey Jo (Scott) King. He graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 2011. He worked for Honda as a line worker for several years before recently working at Amazon. Robert was an avid gamer.
He liked computers, magic cards, Dungeons & Dragons, and most of all, enjoyed attending GenCon. He is survived by his mother, Casey Jo (Scott) King (fiancé Mark Egerton) of Shirley; father, Eric O'Neal King of Middletown; daughter, Emily Elizabeth Pike of Spiceland; brother, Levi Oneal King of Lapel; step-sisters, Chloe, Jessica, and Ivy; grandparents, Marcia and Paul Scott, Jerry King, Kathy Taylor, R L Pike, Charlene Fair; his aunts, Christy (Danny) Gainey, Cara Moore, Jessica (Russell) Fields; his uncles, Donnie Harmon, Tony Pike; several cousins, great aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Candy Harmon. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 8, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Pastor Steve Ellis will be officiating.
Burial will follow at Harlan Cemetery in Wilkinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Robert Dru Pike Memorial Fund c/o Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W. US Hwy 40, Greenfield, IN 46140, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
