Richard L. Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2025, at the age of 90, Richard L. Smith of Greenfield, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Leonard and Carrie Hazel Smith (Ganzel); his son Mark Lee; and his parents-in-law, Claude Richmond and Leona Richmond.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Smith; his children, Steve Smith (Sandra), Dennis Smith (Cindy), Andre Smith (Jackie), Gregory Smith and Terri Smith (Rob); his close friends, Matt Goldberg, Clarence Ebert and Sue Lowery; and also Christina Lee. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 US-40, Greenfield, IN 46140). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
