He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett A. Cathcart and Estella Cathcart (Stout); and his siblings, Ed, Jim, Tom, Joe, Steven, Charlie Cathcart and Jeanette Cathcart.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Cathcart (Hess) of Greenfield; his children, Richard Allen Cathcart (Kathy) of Greenwood, William Louis Cathcart of Lafayette and Anita Padgett of Wilkinson; and his brothers, Hubert Cathcart (Barbara) of Carmel and Harry Cathcart (Lois) of Lakeland, FL.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
