He is survived by: his wife Valerie Shepherd; his children, Elizabeth Shepherd (Terry Hiles), Sandra Slinker and David Shepherd (April); his grandchildren, Gavin Slinker, Grant Slinker, Jr., Bryson Plank, Brenton Plank, Ava Tate, Maggie Shepherd and Olivia Shepherd; his great grandchildren, Braelyn Slinker and Alayah Slinker; and his siblings, James Shepherd and Linda Rittenhouse (Roger).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 US-40, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
