He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel O. Caudill and Hazel M. Caudill (Heflin); and his son Christian Clark. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Walden; his children, Frances Clark and Nathan Caudill; his grandchildren, Autumn Caudill, Olivia Clark and Brooklyn Clark; and his sister-in-law Carol Caudill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
