In loving memory of Monte L. Godbey of Greenfield, Indiana, born in Anderson, Indiana, who departed this world on May 6, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Godbey and Kathleen Godbey (Montgomery); his brother Richard; his former wives, Lorene Godbey and Angela Godbey; his son Joe Godbey; and his stepchildren, Jackie, Karen, Lori and Chris.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Julie Truscott (Rick) of Knightstown and Jeff Godbey (Amy) of Greenfield; his stepson Kirk Hedrick (Laura) of Kennard; and his siblings, Gary Godbey and Judy Wihebrink (Bill). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
