We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025, at the age of 89, Melvin Grant Jr. of Greenfield, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Melvin leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Melvin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Grant and Pearl Grant (DeHart); and his wife Dorthy Grant (Green). He is survived by: his children, Laurie Lopez (Michael A. Lopez), Mike Grant (Lisa), Mark Grant (Kimberly) and Amy Deugan (Collin). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
