He was predeceased by: his parents, Festus Hardisty and Hermoine Hardisty (Quimby); his siblings, Lloyd Enlow Hardisty and Edna Louise Carmichael; and his grandson Brett Andrew Nigh.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hardisty (Weaver); and his daughters, Sue Ann Nigh (Stephen) and Jane Ellen Hardisty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
