He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hurlston and Ocie Viola Adams (Fansler); his daughter Carol Adams (Carmichael); and his siblings, Dorothy Felt, Albert Adams and Walter Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona F. Adams (McMichael); his children, Cindy Arnold (Tom), Joseph M. Adams, Dr. David Adams (Cindy), Daniel Adams (Lisa) and Julie Crowley (Brian); his stepchildren, Aubrey Scutchfiled (Mark), Charles Clayton Hancock (Chelsea) and Jessica Hancock; his sisters, Myrtle Curtis and Pauline Bartle; and his pet Patch. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
