John Grose III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Grose III of Greenfield, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. II and Helen Mae Grose (Gates); and his brothers, Donald and Larry Grose. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Grose; his children, John Matthew Grose (Kristin), Cara Garvey (Jon) and Mandy Grose; and his sister Linda Kay Richey. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 US-40, Greenfield, IN 46140). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Alzheimer's Association at Attn: Donor Services, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601, by website at https://act.alz.org., or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
