It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Rust of Greenfield, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Rust and Toula Rust (Petrakis); and his former wife Darla Lynn Rust. He is survived by: his wife Donna Rust (Enos) of Greenfield; his daughters, Angela Thompson (James Foncannon) of Plainfield, Jennifer Rust (Barbara Watson) of Clermont and Susie Rhodes (Sean Smith); and his grandchildren, Joshua Rhodes (Amanda Patrick), Cody Thompson, Kamryn Griffith, Jacob Rhodes, Bryana Smith and Rylee Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 US-40, Greenfield, IN 46140). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Westridge Park Cemetery (9295 W 21st St, Indianapolis, IN 46234).
