He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemmens W. Ray, Jr. and Mary Catherine Ray (Sherrill); and his siblings, Thomas Ray, Caroline Hunter and Betty Heidelberger.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ray (Buker) of Greenfield; his children, Charles "Chuck" Ray (Becky), Cynthia Helfrich and Kristina Graber (Stanley); his grandchildren, Nathan, Andrew, Zachary and Maddie Graber; his brother Michael J. Ray; his niece Catherine Dicks; and his nephews, Luke and Joseph Heidelberger.
