He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville True and Cathryn True (Thomas). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Mayer); his son Doug True (Sharon) of New Palestine; his grandchildren, Megan and Matthew True; and his sister Judy Martin (Carl) of Knightstown. He is also survived by his loving family including his wife of 59 years.
