It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan Rura of Greenfield, Indiana, born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby M. North (Whitaker) and Kenneth J. North; her former husband Dr. Lawrence Rura; and her brother Wayne North. She is survived by: her husband Norman D. Smith; her children, LouAnn Ewing (Harry), Steven Rura (Cherie) and Dennis Rura (Sheila); her stepson Jeffery Smith; and her grandchildren, Christina, Benjamin, Lauren, Logan, Ashley, Jacob, Joseph and Jeremy. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
