It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hugh John of Greenfield, Indiana, born in Shelby, Indiana, who passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. John and Geraldine John (Phares); his wife Virginia John; his grandson Joseph Levering; and his siblings, Phyllis Banks, Martha Marler, Fred and Lowell John.
He is survived by: his children, Michael John (Dee) of Greenfield and Gail Levering (Rich) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Carrie (Jeremy), Jonathan (Samantha) and Joshua (Deena); his great grandchildren, Zachary, Hayden, Wyatt and Gatlin; and his brothers, David John (Judy) of Franklin and Donald John (Betty) of Shelbyville.
