She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Selfe and Dessie Selfe; her husband W. Gordon Johnson (Shorty); her son Charles "Chuck"; and her grandchildren, Chris Charles Johnson and Sarah Elizabeth Cashin (Nelson Johnson).
She is survived by: her children, Jerrilee "Jerri" (Stephen), Joseph "Joey" and Joey Johnson (Pam); her daughter-in-law Brenda Johnson; and her grandchildren, Cory Johnson (Donette), Barri Varga (Steve), Shawn Hunsinger (Jerry), Joy Penrose (Mike), William Lucas, C. J. Cashin, John Michael Vore, Tyler Johnson (Geornee) and Maggie Johnson (Derek). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
