He is survived by: his wife Shawn Tongate; his children, James Tongate (Kym), Kelly Tongate and Mike Tongate (Annie); his stepchildren, Zachary Cook (Alicia) and Katrina Cook; his siblings, Richard Tongate and Margaret Whiteman; and his sister-in-law Patti Tongate. He is also survived by grandchildren; 1 great-grandson.
