He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Henderson (Cunningham) and Clarence Henderson; his brothers, Norman Henderson and Wayne Henderson; and his sons, Anthony Henderson and Gene Edward Henderson Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Henderson (Allen); his daughters, Kimberly Rowley and Shauna Stevens (Jason); and his grandchildren, Robert Rowley Jr., Mandelynn Harris, Timothy Stevens, Matthew Stevens and Jacklyn Stevens. He is also survived by four Great Grandchildren.
