It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary H. Aitken of Greenfield, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh G. Aitken and Edna Jarrell (Hay); and his siblings, Glen Aitken and Beverly Aitken. He is survived by: his wife Martha Aitken (Yturralde); his son Michael "Mike" Aitken of Fishers; his sister-in-law Francine Hebert of Montreal, Canada; and his granddaughter Brittany Aitken of Louisiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory (1484 US-40, Greenfield, IN 46140). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing in Gary's name.
