He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Nicely and Mabel L. Nicely (Burkert); and his brother James E. "J. R.". He is survived by: his wife Sally Nicely (Holt) of Greenfield; his daughter Dianne Hoover (Greg) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Deidre Low (Cody) of Greenfield, Rachel, Amanda and Jamison; and his brother Robert H. Nicely of Greenfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
